Hello friends
How do you come up with story ideas? Me, I use a lot of personal experiences. What kind of book am I writing? Supernatural, fantasy, romance? Depending on the genre, I use those experiences in different ways to bring to life the true meaning of the story.
We all have a different path on our writing journey. There are many successful paths. We each have to find the path that works for us. Me, when I feel inspired, my story pours out of me as if I am reading a novel that some one else has written. I don't make a road map of how my story should proceed. I don't do a big book planning session where I write each step of the syory out on post it notes. I just write. I know the beginning and I know the end, but the journey through the story is an exciting surprise to me.
